Freebies! 8/12/14

I had a small mail day, but it was AWESOME!

First up are soaps from Fiji Organic... Let me tell you, these soaps smell AMAZING! But not an overwhelming smell that you wouldn't be able to stand them if you were around them too long. This unfortunately happens way too often with soaps and I find myself not wanting to purchase them.

I was in contact with them and asked if they had any samples, they were gracious enough to send me a few, and I am IN LOVE! They also sent me a 25% off coupon for my next purchase. Which I WILL be using in the very near future. 

The scents they sent are:

And my favorite one of them all, Tea Tree Spearmint. This smells AMAZING! I have always been a huge fan of tea tree oil, and the smell of this soap is heavenly! 

And my last freebie is from Big Ass Solutions, it was a promo they were doing, you got a code and you put the code in to get a free glass from them.. I'm SO happy that I was able to get one while this was still going on, the glass is very thick and I love the look of it.

Check out these AMAZING freebies!! This was in just 1 mail day! Now i'm kind of worried since my week has been so amazing with free stuff, that next week I won't get anything. lol..

I got my first magazine subscription, it is Essence magazine.. Check out RewardSurvey.com for a chance to take survey's and then use your "money" to get FREE magazine subscriptions.

As always, make sure you check out vonbeau.com and freebieninja.com to stay up to date with current freebies. That is where the fish oil, vive, and boating sticker came from.

The owl cell phone case came from maxboost. I talked about that in my previous blog post. Every week day they post a link and a code for you to use to get a free cell phone case. You have be FAST because they only give out so many each week day.

The "I served" stickers came from Operation Home Front. They are a website that you can get free stickers, and also make a donation (if you choose) to help out our service people.

I also got a priority mail starter pack. This was ordered off the USPS website. It was a freebie that was floating around on the groups about a week ago.

And then, my favorite thing of all!!! A FREE coffee mug from BigAssFans! I don't believe you can sign up for this anymore. But I was SO excited to get it! It's a very strong mug and I do believe it's going to be a new favorite of mine.

I am finding that it is VERY time consuming to sign up for freebies. If you step away from your computer for 5 minutes a freebie could be gone by the time you get back. But I sure am loving all of this mail!

Freebies: Wednesday 8/6/14

I didn't get many freebies today, but what I got was AMAZING! So, last Friday Bath & Body Works started a deal where you went to their website and bought ANYTHING (yes, anything!) and you could get a FULL SIZE body mist of your choice for FREE! Is that not amazing? I personally check their sales out often, and this is the first time I've seen this one offered. So, of course I had to place an order!

The Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin has been a favorite of mine from them for about 4 years now. It is the perfect Fall scent. I already have this very same body mist, but since I wear it so often, I wanted another one! This is my go-to perfume. I even wear it in the summer! This isn't just strictly a Fall scent for me. I change my scents up often, but I will buy the smaller body sprays from Bath & Body Works, that way I don't have a ton of 1 scent.

But, this is what I got:

The Body Mist has a new design on it! I personally liked last years design better, but this is still a Fall scent and the bottle is pretty, just not my favorite design for the bottle to date.

And that cell phone case was completely free from MaxBoost on Facebook. Every weekday they do a giveaway for a cell phone case, they go SUPER fast so you have to be on and check their page often to see when the next giveaway is going to be. But what happens is, they will post their Amazon page link, and then a code and you have to be really fast, click the link, add it to your cart, enter the code and check out. This time I got a white case. And the fun thing about MaxBoost, you can get a different case every month!

In My Mailbox (2):: IPSY! May 2013

I heard about IPSY 2 weeks ago from a YouTube video I watched. That was the first time hearing about them and after seeing all the products the girl got for $10 a month, I was in!
I was one of the lucky people to get one of the last few bags they had for May. I really wanted May's bag. One, because I loved the bag. And two because I wanted the concealer. I have been looking for a good concealer, and I figured I would try IPSY out so that I could try new products before purchasing.

A little about IPSY. It is a $10 a month subscription service. You are billed on the 1st of each month, you get an e-mail when the bags are shipped, and they have a great website where you can share your beauty photos, videos, and comment on other people's photos.
Another great thing about IPSY, is the number of people who subscribe. And this is important, to me at least, because I got my bag yesterday and I am already swapping everything I got in my bag with someone else. The only thing I kept was my nail polish.
Saying that, I am still VERY HAPPY with IPSY and will continue on with my subscription service each month with them. Which concludes what I was saying about having a big number of people who are members of them, many people are willing to trade! There are facebook pages, IPSY has a facebook page of their own where you can swap on. So if you get something that you know you won't use then you can trade it for something that you can use! And for $10 a month, and this month there was all full size samples, you get a steal!!
I think my bag wasn't the greatest, and didn't match my profile quiz I took because I was one of the last few to get a May bag, and so I think products might have just been one's they had left? I can't say that for sure. For instance, I picked the lightest skin tone on the quiz, and they sent me my concealer in honey??? Way too dark for me. I did end up trading that, but I will post what I traded behind each item I got. =)

This was my bag:

The bag is GORGEOUS! It is the main reason I signed on. I love any kind of makeup bag, already have a ton and I love any kind of purse. So this to me is worth the $10 a month!

Starting from left to right:

-YABY concealer in Honey.... This is too dark for me, I am trading someone for Buff
-Anastasia Clear Brow Gel.. I don't fill in my brows so I have no reason for this.. I am trading my brow gel for the St Tropez bronzing lotion.
-Mirabella lipstick in Pixie. This is an orange color, I didn't like it.. So I am trading this for the Mirabella lipstick in Posy.
-Pacifica Tahitian Gardenia roll on perfume. This has a very strong floral scent, not a good scent for me. I am trading this for the vanilla roll on.
- And last is a ZOYA nail polish in Gie Gie.. A very sheer color. You have to really build up to get a good result but I did end up keeping this.

Even though I did end up swapping almost everything I got, which should be here in the next day or 2. I am still VERY happy with IPSY and all of the great products I got from them. I can't wait for June!

In My Mailbox (1) Molton Brown, LaFace, Jane Iredale

I've decided that i'm going to start doing an "In My Mailbox" post. Either once a week, or every time I get mail, depending on what I receive.
For instance, I will do a blog post of it's own for my IPSY monthly subscription. But I might do a few products together if I only receive a couple. Either samples or freebies.

My first post is going to be on these samples I got:
All of these samples came in the mail yesterday. I DID contact these companies asking if I could try their products before purchasing.

 

 First up is from Molton Brown. I heard great things about their body washes for men, and I wanted to have my husband try them because he likes using body wash. Saying that, my husband did not like these body washes. He couldn't get past the scent from them, so he ended up not using them. =( I told him I wasn't going to get samples for him anymore.. haha

 

 Next up are a few samples from LaFace. I got:
facial wash, deflection cream, moisturizer, line erase concentrate, roteger, and a purifying serum, body lotion, and cellular cream..

 

And then, from Jane Iredale I got:
 loose powder in Warm silk, a pressed powder in warm silk and a dream tint moisturizer..

I have no used any of these products yet, since I did just get them yesterday. I am very excited to try the Jane Iredale. The tinted moisturizer does have a bit of a scent to it, and i'm not sure how well I like it. But I am going to give it a try.
I am very excited to try the LaFace products. I have very dry skin and they sent me some amazing samples!
