Baublebar

I was introduced to BaubleBar about a month ago. I signed up for their newsletter and had received a code for $10 to use on their website.
Unknown to me, every Friday they have a hidden piece of jewelry on their website for $10, they offer free shipping all the time. A friend told me that they had gotten the $10 bracelet they had found, filled out their information and it was 100% free.
So about 3 weeks ago I went back to BaubleBar and found the $10 bracelet they had, and sure enough, it was FREE!

Well, I got my package today, and I was BEYOND EXCITED to see that I also got a free pair of bow earrings.
There was a card inside that said:

Thank you for your patience while our site was taking a sparkle snooze.
To show our appreciation, we included a little extra sparkle in your box.
ENJOY!

I was like "WHAT?".. I opened the 2 little bags I got and sure enough there was a pair of earrings.
I can't believe they also sent me earrings for free, when I got the bracelet for free.
Here they are:

To not only have BaubleBar give their new subscribers a $10 credit and I got a free bracelet, but then also to send me a free pair of earrings because they took so long to ship. I think this is for sure going to be a company that I order from often!

Every Monday they have an item priced down to $20 and every Friday they have an item priced down to $10! And did I mention the shipping is free??

One VERY happy jewelry lover today!

In My Mailbox (2):: IPSY! May 2013

I heard about IPSY 2 weeks ago from a YouTube video I watched. That was the first time hearing about them and after seeing all the products the girl got for $10 a month, I was in!
I was one of the lucky people to get one of the last few bags they had for May. I really wanted May's bag. One, because I loved the bag. And two because I wanted the concealer. I have been looking for a good concealer, and I figured I would try IPSY out so that I could try new products before purchasing.

A little about IPSY. It is a $10 a month subscription service. You are billed on the 1st of each month, you get an e-mail when the bags are shipped, and they have a great website where you can share your beauty photos, videos, and comment on other people's photos.
Another great thing about IPSY, is the number of people who subscribe. And this is important, to me at least, because I got my bag yesterday and I am already swapping everything I got in my bag with someone else. The only thing I kept was my nail polish.
Saying that, I am still VERY HAPPY with IPSY and will continue on with my subscription service each month with them. Which concludes what I was saying about having a big number of people who are members of them, many people are willing to trade! There are facebook pages, IPSY has a facebook page of their own where you can swap on. So if you get something that you know you won't use then you can trade it for something that you can use! And for $10 a month, and this month there was all full size samples, you get a steal!!
I think my bag wasn't the greatest, and didn't match my profile quiz I took because I was one of the last few to get a May bag, and so I think products might have just been one's they had left? I can't say that for sure. For instance, I picked the lightest skin tone on the quiz, and they sent me my concealer in honey??? Way too dark for me. I did end up trading that, but I will post what I traded behind each item I got. =)

This was my bag:

The bag is GORGEOUS! It is the main reason I signed on. I love any kind of makeup bag, already have a ton and I love any kind of purse. So this to me is worth the $10 a month!

Starting from left to right:

-YABY concealer in Honey.... This is too dark for me, I am trading someone for Buff
-Anastasia Clear Brow Gel.. I don't fill in my brows so I have no reason for this.. I am trading my brow gel for the St Tropez bronzing lotion.
-Mirabella lipstick in Pixie. This is an orange color, I didn't like it.. So I am trading this for the Mirabella lipstick in Posy.
-Pacifica Tahitian Gardenia roll on perfume. This has a very strong floral scent, not a good scent for me. I am trading this for the vanilla roll on.
- And last is a ZOYA nail polish in Gie Gie.. A very sheer color. You have to really build up to get a good result but I did end up keeping this.

Even though I did end up swapping almost everything I got, which should be here in the next day or 2. I am still VERY happy with IPSY and all of the great products I got from them. I can't wait for June!

Thanks for stopping by!

In My Mailbox (1) Molton Brown, LaFace, Jane Iredale

I've decided that i'm going to start doing an "In My Mailbox" post. Either once a week, or every time I get mail, depending on what I receive.
For instance, I will do a blog post of it's own for my IPSY monthly subscription. But I might do a few products together if I only receive a couple. Either samples or freebies.

My first post is going to be on these samples I got:
All of these samples came in the mail yesterday. I DID contact these companies asking if I could try their products before purchasing.

First up is from Molton Brown. I heard great things about their body washes for men, and I wanted to have my husband try them because he likes using body wash. Saying that, my husband did not like these body washes. He couldn't get past the scent from them, so he ended up not using them. =( I told him I wasn't going to get samples for him anymore.. haha

Next up are a few samples from LaFace. I got:
facial wash, deflection cream, moisturizer, line erase concentrate, roteger, and a purifying serum, body lotion, and cellular cream..

And then, from Jane Iredale I got:
loose powder in Warm silk, a pressed powder in warm silk and a dream tint moisturizer..

I have no used any of these products yet, since I did just get them yesterday. I am very excited to try the Jane Iredale. The tinted moisturizer does have a bit of a scent to it, and i'm not sure how well I like it. But I am going to give it a try.
I am very excited to try the LaFace products. I have very dry skin and they sent me some amazing samples!

If you got anything in your Mailbox comment below so I can stop in and check it out. =)

Thanks for stopping by!! <3

*I did receive these products to review. Company did not ask for me to advertise or post my opinions on the products. Posting and sharing thoughts is my choice. =)

DermOrganic

DermOrganic® products are made using ingredients that are synergistic to your hair and skin to replenish from the outside what your hair and skin need inside for health and vitality. (source)

I was in contact with DermOrganic and they were kind enough to send me some samples to try and review. Let me start off by saying, their costumer service is excellent! They are quick getting back to your e-mails, and my samples were here in just a couple of days! Talk about excellent service.

DermOrganic is also all vegan, they are made with no animal by-products and are never tested on animals, No sulfates, glycols, DEA, MEA, dyes or food coloring, Gluten- free, Paraben-free and no artificial preservatives, And they are made without salt, sodium chloride or other artificial thickeners.

I know that I struggle with acne and sensitive skin. A bad combination since all acne products have some form of alcohol in them, which dries your skin out. In just a weeks time, my chin area has cleaned up a lot. I now wish I would have taken pictures of what I started with and what my face now looks like.
I have been using DermOrganic for a little over a week, and a little goes a long way! Even using these over a week, I still have half a bottle of the shampoo left, and almost a whole bottle of the moisturizer. This stuff works, and lasts a long time!

I like the facial cleanser because it cleans by face really well, doesn't have a strong smell, and it deep cleans without leaving any form of leftover residue on my face. The moisturizer is very light weight, it doesn't leave my skin oily, and it lasts all day! I have been using the lotion on the bottoms of my feet, and my chipped heels have improved in a HUGE way in just a weeks time. I also like the lotion because I don't have an oily feel to my hands, it absorbs really well.

This shampoo has left my hair so soft! As you are working it into your hair, you can just feel the product working. You get that squeaky clean sound as you are rinsing. I have also noticed from using this that my dry scalp has cleared up a lot!. The leave in treatment I have just been using for the ends of my hair since my scalp can be quite oily. But I also curled my hair twice this past week, put a little of this in the palm of my hand, rubbed my hands together and then gently spread this through my curls, it left them so soft and shiny, and didn't leave a heavy residue in my hair.

Let's talk about this hair repair. This stuff needs it's own paragraph it's THAT good! I have only used this once, and my hair felt like I had just left a high priced salon. My hair was so smooth, shiny, soft, no tangles. It was like silk! I also noticed a huge difference in my normal fly-aways that I always seem to have around the front of my face. They are gone! 1 treatment of this made my hair so incredibly healthy looking and feeling! This stuff is like a miracle..

If you have been wondering about DermOrganic, I highly recommend giving them a try! Their products work, and they are good for you!

IPSY

Not sure if you have heard of IPSY. If not, you need to go sign up, NOW! It is only $10 a month and you get way more than that in products. You get a steal! I know that I love the fact that I can get products that I normally wouldn't consider buying. It's like my Birthday every month! And the great thing is, FREE SHIPPING!!

This is May 2013's Glam Bag

It says on my IPSY site that I will be getting a ZOYA polish, YABY Concealer, Anastasia Brow Gel, Mirabella lipstick, Pacifica roll on perfume.
You don't know what colors you will be getting. Like I said, it goes by what you put in your quiz.

Your Glam bag will be different than other's each month. The great thing about IPSY is that it goes by your personal preferences. You sign up, take a quiz and they base what you like to put in your bag.

I have yet to get my bag but when I do I will be posting a video on YouTube and also putting what I got here, on my blog! I can not wait to get it!..

Thanks for stopping by!
