Review: NEW Purex Aromatherapy Crystals

I received a free bottle of these crystals to try out and give my honest review from the Purex Insiders page.

I was SO excited to get these. I do at least 2 loads of laundry a day and to have a scent booster to up my normal laundry detergent sounded amazing to me!

I used them for the first time today and I love them! I have used it twice so far and not only is it making my clothes smell amazing, but it's also leaving my house smelling amazing!

I got the citrus scented one and I love it! These little beads go a long way! My first load I sprinkled just a tiny little bit into the bottom of my washer before adding my clothes. The scent that came out of my washer was so fresh and delicious smelling! Normally when I was my laundry, my clothes have no scent. It's like my washer washes away all the fragrance that my normal laundry soap has. But after using the crystals in my wash, and when I took them out, it just smelled amazing! Like I had rolled my clothes in these crystals and the scent just stuck..

Review: RAGU

Since I was little the only spaghetti sauce we have ever used is Ragu. My Dad swears by the stuff and that is just what we have always used when we are making some kind of pasta dish. Even now that I am married and moved out and have kids of my own, we are still Ragu fans.

I was sent a FREE product coupon from Crowdtap to test and share Ragu. Of course I shared it, and it was on a very special occasion, my husband's birthday! We invited family and friends over, I made a cake, which is pictured but not yet frosted.

I made lasagna!!! I LOVE using ragu sauce for lasagna, 1 jar of this makes a big pot of this and you can feed a large group of people. The sauce is runny, but holds well when cooked up and sits in the dish.

The cake I made homemade peanut butter frosting to go on it. And I served the lasagna with garlic bread! It was delicious! Ragu sauce is amazing!

Review: Chapstick duel-ended hydration lock

I was lucky enough to be chosen to receive a free Chapstick duel-ended hydration lock chapstick from Smiley360. I am a HUGE chapstick lover and was glad to try this and offer my feedback on it.

I was given the option to choose this one. Which is the Moisturize and renew. Or the Day & Night. I use other thing's on my lips at night time so I chose to try the moisturize and renew one. And for 1 main reason. I read that it is supposed to help with fine lines, and make your lips look smooth. Right now it's getting cold in my area so I am looking for something to help me get my lips back in shape so that I can wear my Fall lipstick. I don't wear lipstick any other time of year but Fall time.
I wore lipstick for the 2nd time this year and did notice a difference when applying it. My lips seemed smoother, a lot less flaky and chapped, and they lipstick didn't seem to settle down into my lip creases.

The two main thing's that I like about this duel-ended chapstick, is that the actual container has some bulk to it. It's very easy to hold on to, and also easy to find in my purse.
The other thing that I really like is how the chapstick comes out of the tube. Each end has it's own twist top, so it works sort of like a lipstick. The chapstick comes out very smoothly, and goes back down great. There isn't any wasted chapstick, or a broken twist that keeps the chapstick raised up and then you ruin half of it.

One thing I didn't care for, the smell/taste. I don't care who you are, you at some point end up licking your lips and you get that nasty chapstick after taste in your mouth. This chapstick is no different, but might be a little worse than other's. It doesn't have any kind of strong scent to it, which is nice. But it's not a pleasant scent either. It's very hard to explain what I mean without you actually using it.

But all in all, I really like this chapstick. I have been using it all through out the day on a daily basis for a week now.

49 Cent Clothes!!

Yes, you read that title correctly, clothes are only .49!

I'm not sure if I am the only one that didn't know this, BUT every Sunday, Goodwill stores have a special where certain tags on their clothes are 49 cents! WHAT?!?! Yes, this is true! I had no clue about it until last week when I went into a thrift store, found a bunch of sweaters for the upcoming winter, and a friend told me about it.

Nice toilet, eh? ;-)

This WHOLE outfit, only cost me $1.47! Yes, the capri's are a little baggy, but I am thinking with a few more washes and tumble them in the dryer they will be perfect. Anyway, who want's super tight pants anyways? I know I don't.
The cardigan is such a nice quality, heavy and warm. It fit me perfectly. I am not one to button any of my over shirts, so this fits me perfectly. I really like this outfit.

Here is another shirt, with the same tank top and capri's but with a peach colored shirt over the top. This shirt is an Old Navy brand and was only .49. I really like it, it has a stretchy fabric and I like how it looks on me.

And I LOVE this mustard colored cardigan. It has long sleeves at the wrists to roll up, and just looks very classic. I am very happy with this one.

I will for sure be going back again. I also picked up some shirts for my kids, a couple sweaters for my husband for him to wear to work when it get's colder and a couple other shirts for myself that I didn't take a picture of.

Easy Triscuit snack!

Take Dill & Olive Oil Triscuit's. 

In a small bowl combine sour cream and chives

Top each Triscuit with the sour cream and chive mixture.

And then add cut up pickles!

It is DELICIOUS! I started making these over the summer and my kids love them. I also took them to a family get together and a few of our camping trips. I didn't pre-make them. But I had the sour cream and chive mixture ready in another bowl and people just topped the crackers themselves. Such an easy thing to take along with you.

I received this hand wash from Smiley360. This is my first mission through them and I was SO excited to be chosen!

This hand wash is very citrusy, so if you aren't into that kind of scent I wouldn't choose it for you. For me, It smells more on the mandarin side. Didn't really get a grapefruit smell. But it smells wonderful!

I found this soap to foam up really well. You don't need a lot, which I loved! This bottle will last me along time. I don't find the scent to linger too long on my hands, but it does leave an after smell, which I like. It smells just like mandarin oranges. 

All in all, I really like this hand soap. It smells good, it will last a long time, the bottle is SO cute and will match many home decors as well. Which is always a plus for me! I love matching.

My Review: I absolutely love the cover of this book. It's so timeless, get so haunting at the same time. I think it really fit's the book perfectly. I am one of those readers who always judge a book by it's cover. =)
This was a great book. I have been getting lucky lately with the books I've been reading, as they have all been pretty good. But I have to say that I think this is one of my favorite's of the year. It is a very light read. There isn't too much you have to think about, it wasn't a huge blow-out at the end where it was a big shocker. But the book was very well written, the character's were very likable, and it made the suspense of the book even more fun.

I had a small mail day, but it was AWESOME!

First up are soaps from Fiji Organic... Let me tell you, these soaps smell AMAZING! But not an overwhelming smell that you wouldn't be able to stand them if you were around them too long. This unfortunately happens way too often with soaps and I find myself not wanting to purchase them.

I was in contact with them and asked if they had any samples, they were gracious enough to send me a few, and I am IN LOVE! They also sent me a 25% off coupon for my next purchase. Which I WILL be using in the very near future.

Freebies: Wednesday 8/6/14

I didn't get many freebies today, but what I got was AMAZING! So, last Friday Bath & Body Works started a deal where you went to their website and bought ANYTHING (yes, anything!) and you could get a FULL SIZE body mist of your choice for FREE! Is that not amazing? I personally check their sales out often, and this is the first time I've seen this one offered. So, of course I had to place an order!

The Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin has been a favorite of mine from them for about 4 years now. It is the perfect Fall scent. I already have this very same body mist, but since I wear it so often, I wanted another one! This is my go-to perfume. I even wear it in the summer! This isn't just strictly a Fall scent for me. I change my scents up often, but I will buy the smaller body sprays from Bath & Body Works, that way I don't have a ton of 1 scent.

But, this is what I got:

The Body Mist has a new design on it! I personally liked last years design better, but this is still a Fall scent and the bottle is pretty, just not my favorite design for the bottle to date.

And that cell phone case was completely free from MaxBoost on Facebook. Every weekday they do a giveaway for a cell phone case, they go SUPER fast so you have to be on and check their page often to see when the next giveaway is going to be. I was in contact with DermOrganic and they were kind enough to send me some samples to try and review. Let me start off by saying, their costumer service is excellent! They are quick getting back to your e-mails, and my samples were here in just a couple of days! Talk about excellent service.

DermOrganic is also all vegan, they are made with no animal by-products and are never tested on animals, No sulfates, glycols, DEA, MEA, dyes or food coloring, Gluten- free, Paraben-free and no artificial preservatives, And they are made without salt, sodium chloride or other artificial thickeners.

I know that I struggle with acne and sensitive skin. A bad combination since all acne products have some form of alcohol in them, which dries your skin out. In just a weeks time, my chin area has cleaned up a lot. I now wish I would have taken pictures of what I started with and what my face now looks like.
I have been using DermOrganic for a little over a week, and a little goes a long way! Even using these over a week, I still have half a bottle of the shampoo left, and almost a whole bottle of the moisturizer. This stuff works, and lasts a long time!

I like the facial cleanser because it cleans by face really well, doesn't have a strong smell, and it deep cleans without leaving any form of leftover residue on my face. Themoisturizer is very light weight, it doesn't leave my skin oily, and it lasts all day! I have been using the lotion on the bottoms of my feet, and my chipped heels have improved in a HUGE way in just a weeks time. I also like the lotion because I don't have an oily feel to my hands, it absorbs really well.

This shampoo has left my hair so soft! As you are working it into your hair, you can just feel the product working. You get that squeaky clean sound as you are rinsing. I have also noticed from using this that my dry scalp has cleared up a lot!. The leave in treatment I have just been using for the ends of my hair since my scalp can be quite oily. But I also curled my hair twice this past week, put a little of this in the palm of my hand, rubbed my hands together and then gently spread this through my curls, it left them so soft and shiny, and didn't leave a heavy residue in my hair. 

Let's talk about this hair repair. This stuff needs it's own paragraph it's THAT good! I have only used this once, and my hair felt like I had just left a high priced salon. My hair was so smooth, shiny, soft, no tangles. It was like silk! I also noticed a huge difference in my normal fly-aways that I always seem to have around the front of my face. They are gone! 1 treatment of this made my hair so incredibly healthy looking and feeling! This stuff is like a miracle..

Review: Grab The Gold Bar

Last week I was sent a sample bar from Grab The Gold. They are a protein bar, and let me tell you, they taste just like a peanut butter no bake cookie! My husband and I tried it together and we LOVED them!
